Miss Humblebee’s Academy is a fun, interactive online kindergarten readiness program for children ages three to six that presents learning concepts based on the U.S. Department of Education, Head Start Child Development, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and other education-based organizations. It includes hundreds of guided lessons with sound and visual cues across many disciplines including Art, Language & Literacy, Math, Music, and Science & Social Studies.
WHAT SETS MISS HUMBLEBEE’S ACADEMY APART:
An Environment Tailored for Learning
Miss Humblebee’s Academy creates a tranquil, supportive, and comprehensive learning environment where children can focus on the learning activity at hand without distraction.
Each lesson targets one or more specific learning objective and the program progresses in difficulty, so the child’s foundation of knowledge grows as more lessons are completed.
Assessments Abound
Children begin with a 15-question assessment to establish their baseline. From there, they create their own avatar and begin a guided, step-by-step approach to learning that progresses sequentially.
More than A, B, C and 1, 2, 3
School readiness is more than academics. Industry practices suggest children’s physical, social, and emotional progress are also factors. Miss Humblebee’s Academy provides an age-related developmental milestones guide and observations checklist to aid parents' understanding of readiness.
Measure Success
Parents receive weekly email notifications to view progress and performance reports, which help pinpoint trouble spots, view improvement over time, and measure progress based on length of practice time.
Unlike any other early learning program available, Miss Humblebee’s Academy also includes the tools libraries need to measure their impact on early literacy development in their communities.
At the Library, School, Home, or On the Go
Parents, educators, and children can access the program using smart phones, iPads, or tablets.
